Foundation For Acoustics
The challenge of creating the ideal acoustical personality of a worship space is extremely complex driven by the laws of physics but shaped by the priorities, personality and worship style of the ministry for whom the room is being designed and built. Memphis Audio's scope of acoustical service is to provide the necessary information, recommendations and design to the architect and building committee to determine the acoustical personality of the worship space best suited for the specific ministry while maintaining sensitivity to aesthetics and not impeding other critical functions within the space. The criteria for the room acoustics shall be speech intelligibility, presentation of music from the music ministries, congregational singing and a quiet, tranquil environment for worship, free from interior and exterior noise related distractions.
